  1. I receive a lot of business calls on my cell, Instant contact integration with iOS Contacts and Android Contacts would save time

    Instant contact integration with iOS contacts and Android contacts.
    I would've gotten the ringbyname product, but I get a lot of cell business calls. Having every new contact I add on my iOS automatically added to my R! contacts would've made R! usable by my business.

  2. Faxing default message or default coversheet option

    R! Faxing has a coversheet that needs to be manually generated each time. End user suggested having a default message appear or permitting a default PDF sheet as the cover sheet.

  4. Type of Reseller Account For Headquarters with Satellite/Remote sites

    My business has multiple accounts that all want and need to communicate with each other.

    If there was a kind of reseller that automatically added all existing extensions from existing sub accounts, that'd allow them to communicate with each other easily. This would make billing and managing easier.

    Example below.
    Added on / extensions added to account's callflows in UI
    2017 Account 1: extensions 1003, 1004, 1005..
    2018 Account 2: extensions 2003, 2004, 2005.. (adds 1003-1005)
    2019 Account 3: extensions 3003, 3004, 3005...(adds 1003-2005)

  5. Extension to extension Auto-Answer / Inbound Client Calls non-Auto Answer

    Not an easy idea, and a unique case...
    where my agents would benefit from being able to dial one another's extensions and immediately have that phone auto-answer inbound extension calls for a two way conversation (Agent A with Agent B)

    inbound calls from customers shouldn't be auto-answered, so the feature would need to be unique to 'inbound extension calls'.

  6. R! Admin Department Monitor / Unreturned | Add option to view Monitor details for entire business (all departments)

    In "R! admin > Monitoring > Department monitor & Handle Unreturned" are both limited to individual department views.

    Some managers/owners would prefer seeing the entire business' department monitor data. Adding an option in the drop down to select a department that includes 'all departments' would both:

    -Ease company-wide report generation
    -Ensure all unreturned calls are returned within the same screen.
    Both tasks would be able to be completed without cycling through several departments and combining data.

  7. For Large Accounts, A feature that generates a PDF of all extensions on the account

    For large accounts with many extensions, having a data creating feature that generates a PDF document that lists all existing extensions per location/account would be really useful. As new locations are added, the pdf can be regenerated and email blasted or printed for clients.

    The feature can be built using a single-select statement on our database and may be simple to create. It would help the largest accounts most, but anyone with more than 2-3 extensions would have printable PDF extension lists that show how reliable ringbyname is on a tangible reusable document.

  8. transcribe voicemail message service

    A particular account requested a new service that would transcribe voicemail messages into SMS. They use the feature elsewhere and would like to apply it to their ringbyname system to save time with voicemails.

    Splash / Error page for IE pages accessing login.ringbyname.com

    IE 11 should give an error message or a splash page if its not functional with our system.
    A browser based redirect would keep clients from thinking our web app product is not working when they use IE 11.

  11. Call Reporting Basic [Should it include Outbound attempts listed as 'incomplete calls'?]

    Customer would like to know if "call reporting basic" 'outbound calls' field can include 'incomplete calls' with 'outbound calls' combined on this account exclusively.

    Some businesses need to know all call attempts. Others need to know only successful outbound calls. Currently 'reporting basic' only helps one of these groups of businesses.

  12. Fax confirmation email copies

    My business owner requires me and my coworkers to send fax confirmation pages to him.

    Can we enable fax confirmation emails? I really like the ringbyname fax system, but I have to use the email fax system since it gives me success/failure notifications for faxing.

  14. Call Queue | No Error message

    Customers who use the call queue system don't generate in RAP a 'no call credit remaining' error for the call attempt. Call queue related troubleshooting can be impacted.

    Additional suggestion:
    An alert or warning for active departments using call queuing when the balance is $0 or low.

  16. Minor Quality of Life Improvement for Multiple Fax Profiles

    Some users who frequently use multiple fax numbers from the same account would prefer that the LAST fax number/profile they send a fax from be their default fax profile/number for the NEXT fax they send in R! web app.

    Currently there is no way to select a default fax profile. A user would have to disable all fax numbers/profiles for themselves that came alphabetic/numerically before them.

    example: 213 faxes are set as default before 223 faxes.

  17. Checkbox for fax failure messages/email notifications

    Fax to Email sends email notifications for all faxes, success and failure. Many businesses would like to know when a fax has failed so they can retry or ask the client what the correct number is.

  18. (3) Fail Safe suggestions to prevent call issues

    In R! admin a user can add their direct DID as a cell phone. This causes a ring loop error.

    Endless call ringing inbound when a direct number is set as a cell forward.

    if this is attempted in R! webapp 3055484343 the direct DID for a user CANT be added. A good fail check error message comes up! :D

    If this is attempted in R! admin, 3055484343 the direct DID for a user, CAN be added. So the loop can be made by admins. :(

    There's no benefit for a user to add their own Direct DID to cell…

    The current CRM statuses favor a 'sales geared' CRM use.

    Adding statuses like these below would allow a service geared CRM use too: 'Paid' 'Non Payment' 'pending documents' 'pending payment'

  20. SMS Unread Messages Where are they?

    The biggest issue with SMS is the Red notification number near the SMS doesn’t really tell you which SMS are “new”
    It appears that the SMS window sorts by date, not by read / unread. Also only the “owner” of the SMS has the Green / Grey dots on the message to toggle the message read. A user might see 8 SMS notices, and have 200 messages, but no idea where the “8” unread ones are at.

    All Possible Suggestions
    Suggestion 1, Make Conversation boxes bold or highlighted to show there is an unread message in that conversation.
