Integrate Microsoft Teams With Ringbyname!
Many customers have asked how they can take the information inside of RingByName and integrate it with Microsoft Teams. Using Zapier, much like with many other apps it is possible to connect RingbyName features to the Microsoft Teams app. You can automate and move info between your web apps automatically and take advantage of Click2Call to so you can focus on your most important work. How to get Started with RingByName and Microsoft Teams on Zapier
To start using RingByName with Zapier, click on RingByName in the list of apps and click on "Connect Account"
You should then see a pop-up window asking you to log-in and authorize the connection between RingByName and Zapier.
After logging in you will be sent back to your zap where you now have RingByName connected. You can begin creating a RingByName zap by clicking on the "Make a New Zap" link in your Zaps area.
Click on RingByName from your list of available connected Apps
Give your new Zap a name and select a trigger, then click "Save + Continue"
You may be asked to select a RingByName account (even if you only have one account connected) and to verify it by clicking on the "Test" button. Once verified, the account will display a green "Success" message. Click "Save + Continue".
Click on the "Fetch & Continue" button to perform a test of the integration.
A "Test Successful" message will display. Click on Continue.
Once you've connected your Ringbyname account, we'll connect your MS Teams account! We'll repeat the same steps starting by searching for Microsoft Teams, and clicking Connect Microsoft Teams to 4000+ apps.
We'll then begin signing into your Microsoft Teams Account. Be sure your using a Paid Microsoft Teams account and have the Zapier app in your MSTeams
Now that your signed in with both Ringbyname and MS Teams you can follow the on-screen to integrate with the selected application.

Common Problems
I'm getting a "Test Unsuccessful" message stating I have no calls.
When creating a zap, you must have at least one phone call logged in your call records in order for the Zap to be connected properly. To resolve this issue, complete a telephone call using your RingByName account, then perform the integration test again.
I'm getting a "Test Unsuccessful" message stating I have no voicemails.
When creating a zap, you must have at least one voicemail in your call records in order for the Zap to be connected properly. To resolve this issue, complete a telephone call and leave a voicemail on your RingByName account, then perform the integration test again.
I'm getting a "Test Unsuccessful" message stating I have no faxes.
When creating a zap, you must have at least one fax in your call records in order for the Zap to be connected properly. To resolve this issue, complete a successful send or receive of a fax using your RingByName
account, then perform the integration test again. If this does not resolve the issue, verify that fax service is enabled and available on your RingByName account.
I cant use MS Teams with Ringbyname, I'm seeing 'Invalid token specified: Cannot read property 'replace' of undefined zapier Error: "DataPostError"
If you receive this error, this is because the Microsoft Teams Zapier integration does not support Microsoft Teams Free accounts. Upgrade to a paid account and ensure the account your connecting Zapier to has one of the following Administrator roles:
Global Administrator
Security Administrator
Security Reader
Privileged Role Administrator
