Need To Quickly Update A Department That's Short Staffed? Department Quick Guide

If you have an urgent need to supply a department with call-ready agents, be sure you have administrative access or can reach someone who does. Then follow the steps below to quickly raise the numbers in the needy department. 

Click on “<Your Name>” at the top-right corner of the screen.


Select "Go to System Administration" from the drop-down list.



Click on "RingByName Setup" or “Main Setup” on the navigation bar along the top of the screen.

On the left side, you will see “Department” section. Click on it to view the departments.


Click on top of the department you would like to add users to.

 


On the bottom-right you'll see a few agent slots and can search for agents you want to add. Simply click on the checkbox by the agent(s) you want added to the department.



Lastly, be sure to hit save at the very bottom of the page to commit your changes!
