Configuring X-Lite Softphone

1.       If this window is not opened yet, right click on any part of the softphone and select “SIP Account Settings”, then click on "Add".


Please enter your information the fields that are circled in red.   Use your own display name, username (your virtual number) and password. To get password info, go to “Receive calls at” underneath your name at the top of the screen and hover over the locks on screen.


2.       Click on the Topology tab. Select "Use Local IP Address".  Select "Use specified server" and leave the corresponding box blank. Uncheck "Enable ICE".



3.       Click OK and then Close.

4.       Make Calls!

 

Here are some things you should know about to take full advantage of your RingByName Account:

·         You can login to your web application at http://login.ringbyname.com to access your call logs, configure call forwarding, check voicemail, and enter call notes. You can also change your password and other personal settings.

·         You can dial into your voicemail box by calling *97 from your telephone. Your extension number is the same as your voicemail box number.

·         You can contact support by:

o   Calling our Support Center at 855-345-7464  Monday through Friday, from 9AM to 9PM Eastern
