Launch a call from within a web browser using the Click2Call Extension!

This tool allows RingByName customers to call any phone number displayed on the web. The RingByName Click2Call extension allows you to make calls directly from the web. The new and improved Click2Call instantly boots up all your contacts and lets you quickly call clients or leads without lifting a finger to your keypad!

This feature is supported by Salesforce, Zoho, Sugar CRM, QuickBooks, and any other web based application accessible on Google Chrome. Not only does this eliminate the process of dialing altogether, but you can make the call with just a click of your mouse! Any platform that supports Google Chrome extensions supports Click2Call (Windows, Mac, Linux).  Click on Click2Call below to begin the install!

How do I download Click 2 Call?
To download Click2Call, go to the Google Chrome Store and search for  “RingByName

Once you've installed the extension, click on it and log into your account.

Finally after logging in, go to the settings tab, and enable 'auto detection' so Click2Call looks for phone numbers to dial. Not all numbers/platforms will be compatible with Click2Call.

Numbers that can be clicked on will appear with an R! beside them as shown below. Clicking on them will begin the connection to calling them.

I'm still not getting any call when I click on the numbers in my browser!

Be sure you have a device tied to your user like a desk phone or a cell phone where you can receive the call! Click on numbers without a device tied to your account won't start any outbound business calls.

I'm getting a popup about Skype or Zoom when I click on a number, is it working?
If you see a popup like the one pictured below, simply ignore the popup. Google Chrome has integrated a few other apps and generates these popups mistakenly. Ignore them until this is corrected. Your Quick2Call calls are still being made, and being sent to your desk phone or mobile device.

Help, I'm not able to click on any phone numbers!
Be sure your in google chrome, and that your in a 'text' clickable phone number. Some platforms use Java and hide the text from being clickable. If no numbers are clickable anywhere, be sure you have auto-detect enabled. Click on your Click to Call icon on the top right, go to the settings tab, and enable 'auto detection' so Click2Call knows to look for phone numbers to dial.

Is Click2Call compatible with Office 365?
Using the Google Chrome extension, users of Office 365 can access their secure contact lists from within the web browser to launch a phone call and or to provide additional information about their contacts within RingByName’s expanded Caller ID pop-up. This allows Office 365 users to enjoy the benefits of the Click-to-Call interface without synchronizing large corporate contact lists.
