Scheduling Conference Calls on the Mobile Application
Conference calling is now available on RingByName and is available through the mobile application for both Android™ Apple iOS™ devices.
Users will see a new Conference icon along the bottom of the mobile applications' Home screen.
How to Schedule a new Conference Call
- First navigate to the Conference Call area by clicking on the
icon located at the bottom of the main screen.
This will take you to the Conference area. - Any scheduled conferences will be displayed in the main conference screen.
- Click on the button to add a new conference.
- Enter a Conference Name, then select a start and end time for the conference. Click Save.
- Select co-workers to invite to the conference and/or enter an external e-mail to invite people outside your company. Then click INVITE.
- A confirmation message will be displayed.
Where can I find my Conference Call Details?
The dial-in number for your conference call, the PIN and a list of participants can be found in the main conference call page.To access the details for all your scheduled conferences follow the steps below:
- First navigate to the Conference Call area by clicking on the
icon located at the bottom of the main screen. This will take you to the Conference area.
- Any scheduled conferences will be displayed in the main conference screen.
- Click on the button next to the conference call you need details for.
- To see additional details about the conference, such as the list of invited participants, click on the "View More" link.
How do invite additional participants to my conference call?
- Click on the button located on the conference detail listing.
- Select the manner in which you would like to invite your new attendee from the list.
(Note: This may vary slightly based on the type of mobile device you have. The iOS options are displayed below).

Why doesn't the conference call icon appear on my account?
If the conference call icon does not appear on your mobile application, it simply means you do not have the most current version of the application installed on your mobile device. Please visit the mobile Google™Play or Apple™ App Store and search for "RingByName" and download the newest version of the application.
Why is conference calling not available on my account?
Conference calling is an add-on service available on your account. Your system administrator must add it to your existing RingByName services before it will appear on your account. If you are the account Administrator or Business Owner, please contact us at 855-345-7464.
